PixelJunk Shooter

PixelJunk Shooter is a multidirectional shooter video game developed and published by Q-Games. This is a very well designed and programmed game that deserves its many positive feedbacks. The controls for the keyboard & mouse or the controller itself is very smooth and fun. Your goal: control your own subterranean vehicle and rescue a number of surviving scientists trapped underground. The interface is great, the controls are great, the music and sound is great, things are self-explanatory or easy to figure out and it’s so simple that it’s just pure fun to the core.. It’s difficult to rate graphics in a game that isn’t trying to have super detailed graphics, so instead we’ll say the graphics are great for what it’s trying to be. It’s also a fun game. Although sometimes you can fight the same enemies in similar environments, it still keeps its charm. The art is excellent as all pixeljunk games, and the way the different particles flow is quite well done. The music is good as well. The few different powers you get are fun, especially magnetic. The boss fights are awesome and the best part of the game.  It’s a nice combination of arcade shooter and puzzle game, and if you are looking for not-so-complicated fun this game is perfect for you!
